1. Why should PVC heat stabilizers be used?
PVC without any additives begin to decompose at about 140°C, and it cannot be plasticized and processed at this temperature. Therefore, temperature must be increased, and stabilizers are then necessary for its processability and to prevent it from decomposing, so as to obtain PVC products.

Most PVC products use compound stabilizers of lead salts and metal soaps, and cause such problems as serious pollution to the environment, higher plasticizing temperature, poor solution fluidity, discoloration in the case of sulfur due to the large amount of lead salts in its formulation.
